Gavriel Lipkind enjoyed a stellar rise to fame as a young cellist, before making the decision to rethink a predefined life and halt a predictable path. He took a three-year long period of retreat from stage life, during which he devoted himself to extensive further studies and recording. Today every aspect of Mr. Lipkind’s activities both as a solo performer as well as the leader of Lipkind Consortium and many special events is an inseparable part of a larger plan to record the underlying repertoire.               

Being a genuine fanatic of audio documentation as an art form in its own right, and not satisfied with concertizing alone, Gavriel Lipkind founded a Production company in 2005.  The unique success story of self-produced recordings that began with Gavriel's unusual interpretation of Bach's 6 Suites for cello solo and his virtuoso album "Miniatures & Folklore" continues ever since.
