In A Hidden Life, Terrence Malick and Fox Searchlight tell the story of an Austrian farmer who faces the threat of execution for refusing to fight for the Nazis during World War II. Gorecki's haunting "Symphony No. 3" can be heard in this Palme d'Or nominated film.
