Custom CD CompilationsCustom compilation CDs are an extremely effective way to build your brand, while giving a valuable gift to your patrons and customers. These CDs can be branded with your logo and will be the type of product that your customers will hold onto for years to come. Nothing says "Thank You" better than the gift of music!
With custom CDs you have two options: Naxos can provide full production for your project where we Master, Press, Print, Package and deliver a finished product to your doorstep. Or you can handle all of the production yourself and simply license our great recordings for use in your project. The choice is up to you.
Full Production Customs:
With full production customs, you and your staff can choose the playlist from our vast collection of more than 6,000 CDs from Naxos and more than 15 other featured labels. After deciding upon your playlist, we will Master and create a reference copy for you to approve. Upon your approval and the delivery of your specific artwork, we will manufacture and package your final product to the same high standards of our standard Naxos releases. Your product will arrive approximately a month after submission on your doorstep at no additional charge. (direct shipment to customers is also available for a small fee) We have a 1000 Unit minimum on all Full Production Customs. Prices are dependent on the content you choose, but typically will range between $5 and $8 per CD.
Custom CD Licensing (you produce the CDs)
If your CD requirement is less than our minimum 1000 units required for our Full Production Custom product, we are always willing to grant you the license to produce these CDs yourself. Licensing music for your in house custom is very easy and only requires a list of the compositions desired. Once you have submitted this list, we will issue you a license of approval and you may begin production. All needed mechanical licenses and other expenses are the responsibility of the client and are not included with this license.
Submission Guidelines:
In order to begin this process, please follow these three simple steps. We thank you for your interest in Naxos Recordings and look forward to helping you create a truly unique product!
- Decide which music you wish to license: By looking on http://www.naxoslicensing.com/ (you will have to create a new account) you can decide exactly which music you wish to use in your compilation.

When you have decided which music you require, send us a detailed list either in MS Word, or MS Excel format stating the Catalog and Track Number, Title, Composer, and Timing of each track to be used.
i.e.CATALOG, TRK TITLE COMPOSER TIMING 8.55XXXX, trk 4 Symphony No.5 Beethoven 4:32 8.55XXXX, trk 3 Cello Sonata No. 1 Beethoven 3.54 - Send in list and begin discussion regarding the manufacturing and production of your project. We can offer full manufacturing (One Stop Shopping) for very competitive rates, however we do have a minimum run of at least 1000 CDs. We can also simply license you the music you wish to have and you can take care of production on your end.

Naxos licensed a track from one of its recordings for a TV commercial presenting the new HP Touchsmart PC with touchscreen technology. Check out the stylish commercial here. The music is from Vivaldi's Four Seasons (8.557920 track 6), performed by Cho-Liang Lin and the Sejong ensemble.
