Whether young or old, man or woman - each of us knows it probably to emulate a certain ideal of beauty. In this German movie the young mother Sonja (Karoline Herfurth) is no different. After two pregnancies, she struggles with the perception of her own body and her relationship with her husband Milan (Friedrich Mücke).
Frauke, about to turn 60, also shares this fate and feels almost invisible to her husband. Daughter Julie (Emilia Schüle), meanwhile, pusue her modeling career, but time and again a flaw is discovered on her body...
